About Us
Ravenwood Farm and Stable offers Kune kune pigs, a New Zealand heritage breed for breeding, pet and meat as well as running a small but dedicated private horse boarding facility for riders with pleasure or retired mounts in a recently renovated barn just east of Dorchester, Ontario.
We here at Ravenwood are focused on individualized care and a peaceful, inclusive environment, whether you are here for the pigs or the horses.
Candi is a second generation farmer and horsewoman who gained her passion, knowledge and dedication from her grandfather Ted Kloosterman, who trained and raced at Western Fair Raceway and around southwestern Ontario.
In 2021 Candi and her family made the decision to purchase a small hobby farm and turn their passion into a business starting with the breeding of Boer goats and Kune Kune pigs. Now 5 years later the passion has grown and the hobby farm is now a sprawling 50 acre farm. Where the enthusiasm and love continues to grow.
